How to Make Gift Baskets

Why not make a Thanksgiving gift basket or two for family members, friends, co-workers or for someone in need.  You can forgo the usual gift basket items and concentrate on some favorite food items.  You can use an autumn or fall theme – deep reds, greens and browns in your gift baskets.  You can make them simpler. Use larger “gift basket” baskets that you can pick up in thrift stores, rather than investing a lot of money in them – or from your craft store if you can get the “gift basket” baskets cheap enough. Use the money you save for more food items for the baskets. Include homemade food items if you have them. Make sure to add apples and oranges and other fruits in your Thanksgiving fruit gift baskets.
